“Changing course” well describes our past year. A year ago if you had asked me “what do you think your life will be like a year from now?” my answer wouldn’t have even come close!
But God is good!
Over the next few weeks I will attempt to share some of the ways God has shown His goodness, His mercy, and His grace in the midst of a year of unexpected change - and unanticipated losses.
Though our course may have changed, my family continues to “press on to maturity…we are convinced of better things…we desire [to] show the same diligence so as to realize the full assurance of hope until the end…[to be] imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises…we who have taken refuge…have strong encouragement to take hold of the hope set before us. This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast….” (from Hebrews 6:1, 9, 11, 12, 18, 19)
